Job Description

Lead the Business Development for the Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) Customer Service business, driving profitable growth in alignment with the Strategic Plan of Record (SPOR) and delivering both top-line and bottom-line results. You will be responsible for creating and executing growth plans for services and solutions, ensuring the value propositions resonate in local markets through close co-creation with regional teams.

Your role:

  • Drives commercial growth by developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, solutions, and services—leveraging innovative business models, dynamic sales channels, and risk-sharing partnerships tailored to diverse market needs.
  • Aligns Brand Management & Communication (BMC) initiatives with Business and/or Business Category priorities—including new product introductions (NPIs), quality, and channel enablement—to ensure integrated, market-ready strategies.
  • Acts as the BMC voice for the Business, especially for smaller or emerging markets, ensuring these markets are strategically represented and supported in key decision-making forums.
  • Shapes policy and leads strategic improvement initiatives through collaborative, insight-driven efforts that boost organizational performance and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Serves as a recognized industry and internal thought leader, using deep expertise to drive innovation, challenge the status quo, and advance business objectives with impactful contributions.
  • Translates strategy into execution by leading the rollout of high-level policies—selecting the right tools, methodologies, and success criteria while balancing long-term vision with operational priorities.
  • Solves complex challenges by applying deep organizational knowledge, distilling customer and market insights, and using robust data analysis to shape forward-thinking, customer-centric solutions.
  • Monitors and responds to competitive dynamics, applying data-driven intelligence to craft and implement compelling counterstrategies that protect and grow market position.
  • Leads strategic global deals, particularly those involving new commercial models or of high global significance—collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft integrated solutions that resonate locally and globally.
  • Champions talent and leadership development, driving succession planning, performance management, and career progression to align workforce capabilities with strategic business goals.

You're the right fit if:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Business Planning or equivalent.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management incl. revenue and margin management.
  • Experience in marketing in healthcare domain with knowledge of value proposition creation.
  • Experience with leading a cross functional team.
  • Knowledge of Lean with Problem – solving skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service and relevant market experience is desired.
  • Capability to review, understand & drive Business strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
  • Ability to perform effectively and lead in a complex matrix environment.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within and lead international and interdisciplinary teams and communicate with Philips personnel and customers.
  • Ability to partner and Influence (senior) stakeholders in a complex organizational construct to drive DXR customer service agenda.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize market trends and competitive intelligence.
