Internship- Business Operations Support at Philips

Expected start date: August or September 2025

Type: Internship (Non-thesis)

Length: 6 months

Time: 40 (or 32) hours/week

Your role:

As Business Operations Support intern you will be the right-hand of the International Region Leader of AM&D, and collaborate with sales & marketing leaders and teams across international regions. Get ready to immerse yourself in a diversity of topics, being exposed to strategic conversations and commercial and customer insights.

The Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) business of Philips provides remote cardiac monitoring services for more than one million patients per year.

You are responsible for

  • Facilitate Leadership meetings: coordinate weekly and monthly leadership staff meetings by crafting comprehensive agendas and maintaining a KPI tracker.
  • Performance preparation: assist the AM&D Leader with the preparation of monthly and quarterly performance reviews and Townhalls with the AMD Business Unit Leader.
  • Dashboard management: develop and manage performance dashboards to monitor objectives and key results for the International Region.
  • Strategic support: collaborate with the AM&D IR Leader on transformative strategic assignments that drive business success.

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Consulting, or related
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn and dive into diverse topics with curiosity and enthusiasm.
  • Possess strong communication skills, capable of connecting with individuals across various organizational levels and cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in financial reporting is a plus.

In return, we offer you

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) needs to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145 net
  • Paid holidays per internship term
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop

IMPORTANT:

  • Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue online interview recording. We are not able to share the outcome of this HireVue interview but will use this as extra selection criteria.
  • In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested. Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
  • Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
