Are you passionate about quality, food safety, and continuous improvement? Are you an experienced quality professional with a background in food, pharma, or biotech manufacturing? We have an exciting opportunity as Sr. Quality Engineer Packaging at Danone’s Specialized Nutrition factory in Zoetermeer!

Our mission is to ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety for our specialized medical nutrition products, supporting the well-being of vulnerable groups in over 55 countries. Key priorities in this position include:

• Driving continuous improvement in quality performance
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
• Leading root cause investigations and preventive actions
• Supporting cross-functional collaboration on quality topics
• Promoting a strong quality culture on the shop floor

As a Senior Quality Engineer Packaging, part of the Quality Assurance team, your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and implement food safety and quality requirements across processes and materials
• Analyze data to improve product and process compliance
• Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Act as a business partner to identify and drive productivity improvements
• Perform quality inspections and engage with shop floor teams
• Lead and support your team in their work and professional development

Sobre ti

You fit this role if you are/have:

• Completed education in food quality, food technology, life sciences or related field;
• Experience in quality assurance in a production environment (food, pharma, or biotech preferred);
• Familiar with HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP standards;
• Strong analytical, hands-on, and results-driven mindset;
• Excellent communication skills across all levels;
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English;
• Team leadership experience is a plus.
