Here’s how you make an impact

As an intern in the Test Engineering department, you will work alongside a Test Engineer to develop a test strategy for our products using your electronics knowledge. You'll be involved with both hardware and software. During your internship, you will focus on developing and programming a test setup, which you will then implement in production, where the testing activities take place. This internship gives you the opportunity to apply your electrical engineering knowledge in practice.

As an intern, you’ll get the chance to experience a diverse and technically in-depth role in electrical engineering. You’ll also have plenty of space to focus on your own project, where we welcome your ideas and input. Under the guidance of a Test Engineer, you’ll collaborate with internal departments, customers, and our international production sites.

• Strong supervision, with a solid onboarding program followed by increasing independence in your work;
• An internship allowance of €400 gross per month. Additionally, A+O Metalektro offers a supplementary internship allowance of €30 gross per day. Please note: this additional allowance is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed once the budget limit is reached.

This is what you bring the team

• You are currently studying Electrical Engineering/Electronics at a university of applied sciences (HBO level), preferably in your final year for a graduation internship;
• You are an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn, and proactive intern.

Your daily responsibilities include

• You will be involved in developing a test strategy and implementing it;
• Improving both existing and new tests and test methods;
• Collaborating with the Account Engineer and/or Account Manager from the Test Engineering department to evaluate customer request together with other departments;
• Creating test documentation and maintenance instructions;
• Working on your own project, with plenty of room for your own ideas and creativity.
