Lead Cost Manager - Rotterdam (S)

Purpose

  • The purpose of a Lead Cost Manager is to oversee and manage the cost related activities across projects, ensuring budget and financial targets are met. This role provides strategic financial insights and leadership to drive cost efficiency and support informed decisionmaking within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • The Project Lead Cost Manager is responsible for leading and managing all cost control activities across multiple projects. This role involves overseeing cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis to ensure projects are delivered within budget and meet financial goals. The Project Lead Cost Manager collaborates with project managers, finance teams, and senior management to provide strategic financial insights and drive cost efficiency.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, PMP, CCE, AACE) is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cost management, project cost control, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas preferred.
