As a Sub Project Lead Electrical Instrument Telecom - Yard, based in Johor Bahru - Malaysia, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and telecom (EIT) systems at the yard. How do you help keep the Netherlands running? As Sub Project Lead Electrical/Instrument/Telecom, you will oversee the construction of low voltage systems and telecom equipment for the delivery of three 2GW topsides and jackets at the shipyard in Malaysia. For the first 3-6 months you'll be based in Arnhem, The Netherlands. After this you will move to Johor Bahru, Malaysia on a residential basis. This role ensures construction quality, contract compliance, and technical decision-making, providing key information to the Lead Site Manager.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
You will also be responsible for liaising with the Sub-Project Lead Electrical (based in The Netherlands) on progress, particular issues, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. This will include ensuring the execution of the works complies with the design, reviewing as-built documentation, and being involved during the equipment manufacturing phase and FATs. Your role will also include ensuring the progress and quality of the assigned scope and reporting regularly to the Lead Site Manager about progress and issues. You will support procurement, risk, and project management.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure successful project execution.
