About ADM Europoort B.V.

At the location of ADM Europoort B.V. we process soybeans and rapeseed. We make various products from this, such as flour and oil for the food and animal feed industry. More than 325 people work at ADM Europoort in the bulk terminal, crush & extraction factory, refinery and soy protein concentrate (SPC) factory. These departments are supported by our own chemical and microbiological laboratory, maintenance & reliability department and the SHEQ department. We also work closely with our in-house contractors who provide (industrial) cleaning, scaffolding, insulation work and technical support.

The ADM Europoort office also houses large commercial and logistics departments, process automation and CAPEX project management teams; as well as departments for payroll, HR and IT.

Purpose:

The employee is responsible for the coordination and handling of the logistics flow (inbound/outbound), as well as the administration of contract positions for commodity products within the Bean & Meal logistics department.

Your activities include:

• Taking care of the production planning related to Meal (coordination and control)
• Align with internal and external stakeholders
• Managing the contract execution of the various Agro commodity flows (inbound/ outbound)
• Administration of the contract positions of commodity products, based on data supplied by Trading department.
• Responsible for accurate and timely information exchange with / reporting to parties internal to ADM (e.g. trading, finance departments, other ADM locations) and external to ADM (e.g. counterparties, shipping agents / terminals, etc.)
• Preparation of various overviews for the Logistics Manager.
• Become an expert in the field of commodity logistics and the execution of contracts, whilst helping to develop the department into a world class organization to become a leading and respected standard, both inside and outside ADM
• Making overviews with regard to expected and actual product flows
• Responsible for various reports to the head office.
• Coordinating and supervision of the work of employees “Customer Service Representative” and the Logistics & Execution Coordinator
• Compliance with and monitoring of legal and business obligations
• Ensuring correct settlement with buyers/suppliers/transporters (demurrage/despatch/analyse invoices)
• Coordinating and executing various improvement projects

As a future Logistics and Execution Specialist you have:

• You have a completed HBO education and HBO working and thinking level
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, other languages are a pre
• You master MS office applications, specifically Excel and Outlook
• You have knowledge of the administrative and logistical processes and commodity products of ADM
• You have affinity with internal procedures, documents, contracts and contract positions
• You are a team player, hands-on and proactively support colleagues where necessary
• You show initiative, out of the box thinking, identify potential issues and address them constructively
• You have very good analytical and communication skills
• You demonstrate a proactive approach and are able to maintain composure under pressure
• You can set priorities
• On call duty, rotating between Assistant Manager, Logistics Manager and you
