What will you do?

Our current Hybrid Cloud Team is ready for the next step and is looking for you to uplift the team by having a cloud-native mindset, encouraging new ideas and fostering a positive and engaging team culture. Currently we are working on multiple initiatives regarding enabling Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Virtual Desktops and Azure AI Foundry to enrich our Hybrid Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate secure, scalable and automated platforms;
  • Drive the adoption and integration of Platform Engineering practices;
  • Support application teams and business users in onboarding to and leveraging the platforms;
  • Collaborate with Risk & Security, Data & Analytics, Identity & Access Management, Architecture and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, governance and innovation;
  • Take part in continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing and training;
  • Monitor and optimise cloud resource utilisation, cost and performance (FinOps).

Your team

Hybrid Cloud Team is part of the Generic IT Department and is responsible for both the Azure Cloud Platform as the IaaS on premise platform managed by our MSP, however our Azure Cloud Platform has our main focus. We drive modernisation and platform engineering with a zero-touch principle. This includes the adoption of Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code and Policy as Code. Next to that we are building self-service capabilities to empower the developers.
