About the role:

We are seeking a Consumer Foresight Manager to join our Consumer Care & Insight team. As a job owner, you will be responsible to recommend and execute a research plan to identify and size growth territories, to validate communication and innovation assets at each stage gate of development. You will work with Marketing and R&D, highlighting the most impactful insights that resonate with people, championing Consumer-obsession within the organisation.

Responsible for:

  • INSIGHT FOR IMPACT: Leverage Consumer Care and Consumer Insights capabilities to identify and size growth opportunities in SDA.
  • INSIGHT FOR DECISION: Deliver research projects for quality decision when validating future Communication and Innovation assets.
  • INSIGHT FOR SPEED: Share research results on time, leveraging existing knowledge to invest for incremental learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage consumer foresight projects in an agile way, from design to execution, ensuring high-quality and actionable insights, delivering against timing and budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in consumer research and apply this knowledge to improve research methodologies and outcomes.
  • Present research findings and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Manage external research vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality research services with proper briefing and project management.
  • Contribute to building a learning culture in the organization, owning a Centre of Expertise practice around either Communication or Innovation. Contribute to elevate the performance of peers in Consumer Care and Insight team and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Innovation CoE manager to improve and embed BIC methodologies in the ways of working.
  • Analyze and interpret research data to provide clear and actionable recommendations to the marketing and/or product development teams. Track outcome and impact of these recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer insights into marketing strategies, product development, and customer experience initiatives. Foster consumer-centricity within the organization.
  • Leverage continuous learning toolkit (Consumer Communities, Immersions, Stravito, Wonderflow, etc.) to make faster and consumer-centric decisions.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer research, with a proven track record of leading research projects.
  • Solid knowledge of research methodologies, inc. qual. and quant. techniques, related to communication and innovation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret various data sources and provide actionable insights.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey research findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills; experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
