We are looking for an Engineering Product Manager to join our dynamic team.

You will be working in designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Your role

The role that you’d perform, it is going to see you involved in several activities and areas.

Product Management:

  • Ensure product modularity and standardization in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage product codes and update BOMs and related documentation.
  • Control and manage costs effectively.
  • Coordinate phase-in and phase-out meetings for product codes.
  • Support and assist in the product strategy.
  • Aid in the development of customer-facing features by collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Adequately resource different tasks within the engineering team.
  • Promote insights in developing a compelling product roadmap based on customer needs.

Project Management:

  • Actively manage complex engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and achieve project objectives.
  • Promote tasks prioritization, approve, or disapprove various tasks, and facilitate smoother prioritization tradeoffs.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Lead the design and development of engineering projects from concept through to completion.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best engineering practices within the team.
  • Analyze engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions to address them effectively.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the engineering process.
  • Conduct design reviews and audits to maintain high-quality outputs.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Support synergy between various functions including Operations, Commercial, and R&D.
  • Develop inter-company communication and collaboration systems.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as product management and operations, to align engineering activities with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and senior management on project status and technical matters.

Your experiences

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials Science, or a related field).
  • Strong understanding of product prioritization.
  • Understanding of organizational strategic initiatives and objectives.
  • Proven experience in technical design and in product management, project management, or program management.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully with various teams.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering projects and teams.
  • Fluent in English (Fluent) with a good level of Italian
