As a C-Level Executive Assistant (fulltime, 40 hours), you play a pivotal role in enabling the success of our Executive Committee (ExCo). Supporting our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), you’ll be her trusted sparring partner and right hand—bringing structure, anticipating needs, and connecting the dots before others do. You’ll proactively manage her schedule, prepare her for key discussions, and coordinate department-wide initiatives in a fast-paced international environment.

You’ll work closely with the HR PMO and our broader Business Support Community, helping shape strategic priorities and organizing global events. Your support goes far beyond the traditional assistant role—you’re a critical thinker, a connector, and someone who brings innovative solutions to the table.

You’re high on energy, low on ego, and you bring clarity in complexity. You think two steps ahead, spot links across projects and people, and anticipate what’s needed before it's asked. You thrive in an environment that’s always moving, and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo or embrace new tools like AI to work smarter.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and optimize the daily schedule of the CHRO—balancing priorities, anticipating needs, and ensuring time is spent where it matters most
  • Act as a trusted partner: supporting key decisions with insights, preparation, and follow-up
  • Coordinate strategic and cross-functional projects, ensuring clear timelines and delivery
  • Track progress on key initiatives and provide structured updates to senior leadership
  • Serve as first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, safeguarding focus and flow
  • Organize impactful (global) events, leadership offsites, and internal workshops from A to Z
  • Collaborate with external vendors, event planners, and suppliers to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Provide hands-on support for key projects, monitor risks and milestones, and drive follow-up actions across departments
  • Translate observations and “operational vibe” into actionable insights that improve the way we work
  • Help protect and promote Rituals’ unique DNA through thoughtful coordination and execution

You’ll be part of our Business Support Community—10 dedicated assistants across two HQ locations (Herengracht and Keizersgracht)—who collaborate on major events while supporting their own ExCo members. Together, we create a seamless leadership experience that enables Rituals to thrive.

Bring all of you

We’re looking for someone who brings the following to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality or Leisure Management
  • 7–10 years of experience in C-Level or Executive Support in an international, high-paced setting
  • A sharp, proactive mindset—you naturally connect the dots and think ahead (e.g. planning meetings with future goals in mind)
  • Outstanding PowerPoint skills—you can translate complex ideas into clear, visual storytelling
  • Experience with digital tools and a willingness to explore new tech, including AI, to optimize work
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)

Benefits of working at Rituals

  • Training, coaching & development opportunities
  • Staff discount on Rituals products
  • Attractive bonus
  • Numerous health & wellbeing initiatives
  • Company & team events
