Internship opportunity at ARMA and STUDIO AR

Do you have a passion for fashion design and innovation? Are you constantly visualizing creative ideas and are you overflowing of inspiration? We are looking for a highly motivated Design & Merchandise Intern, starting from September 2025, for 5-6 months.

As a Design & Merchandise intern, you will be closely involved in the development and of our collections. It is important that you are interested in fashion, trends, and the latest developments within the fashion industry and that you can implement this in designs and concepts. You will report directly to the design team and will support in producing original ideas and concepts that align with our brand’s identity.

Responsabilities

• Assisting in collection merchandising and product assortments
• Developing designs into technical drawings and worksheets
• Creating artworks in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Inspecting and reviewing samples
• Inspiring the team with fresh ideas
• Archiving samples
• Organizing the showroom

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent program in Fashion (AMFI, TMO, Saxion, or else) and looking for an internship of at least 5 months.
• You are available for 40 hours per week*.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required)
• Excellent communication and administrative skills (both written and verbal) in Dutch and English.
• You are result-oriented, take the initiative to roll out new projects, and work in a structured manner.
• You are highly accurate, organized, and creative.
• You are a true team player
