You will play a key role in supporting both tactical and strategic work that goes beyond sourcing activity, helping our internal customers and stakeholders in shaping a new way of working and better informing existing practices.

The internship

In this internship, you will be responsible for:

  • Helping the Global Buyer to shape & deliver strategies in the HR service categories
  • Mapping current processes and designing future processes
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking industry best practices
  • Identifying and managing anticipated resistance
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to plan projects at a granular level of detail
  • Ensuring that change management initiatives and activities are in alignment with overall program plans, objectives, and timelines
  • Using various media platforms to create a good communication plan to our colleagues around the world to ensure we stay connected with the local business
  • Co-owning the agreed strategic and sourcing projects with key milestones and success metrics
  • Analyzing internal data and providing insights
  • Linking data sources
  • Create processes to improve data quality

The department

HEINEKEN Global Procurement helps to create sustainable business value for all our stakeholders. We help create this with our full global community of over 900 people, leveraging our ONE Team spirit that helps us to work collaboratively with all our business stakeholders.

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is September 1st 2025
  • The internship is fulltime
  • The duration of the internship is 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • You are registered at an educational institution
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in Amsterdam
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (HBO/WO)
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.
