Senior CAPA Owner / Escalation Lead – Image Guided Therapy

Your role:

As a senior CAPA Owner and Escalation Lead at Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT), you are the key problem solver behind some of the most critical product issues within the organization. You will take ownership of escalations from start to finish—driving root cause investigations, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions that meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance and business impact.

In this impactful role, you will lead end-to-end resolution of high-priority product escalations within the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) business.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and process experts from multiple functions to identify root causes, implement containment actions, and deliver sustainable, structural solutions.

The issues you resolve will be diverse and high visibility—requiring deep analysis, precision in documentation, and readiness for regulatory audits and internal reviews.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders and have the opportunity to influence both technical direction and product quality strategies across IGT.

You're the right fit if:

  • You hold a Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in a lead engineer or systems engineering role—preferably in sustaining or new product introduction (NPI) environments.
  • You possess strong root cause analysis skills, project planning capabilities, and the ability to document findings clearly and auditable.
  • You are familiar with Six Sigma, statistical analysis tools (Python, Excel, Minitab), and Design of Experiments (DOE). Medical device experience is a plus, but not required.
