Image Quality Specialist at Philips

Your role:

  • Understand and communicate customer and application needs in terms of image quality
  • Translate IQ requirements into component specifications and application specific settings for image processing algorithms
  • Resolve customer complaints related to image quality either by supporting the local service team, traveling on site for customization activities and/or proposing structural product improvements
  • Specify and perform image quality verification measurements
  • Perform work in line with relevant regulations/standards and with processes that have been agreed in the department
  • Initiate continuous improvement of our product and processes

You’re the right fit if:

  • MSc degree in one of the following subjects: image processing, physics, (bio-)medical engineering, mathematics
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field, e.g. medical imaging or image optimization
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role e.g. requirements & design or verification & validation
  • Understanding of X-ray physics and operation principles
  • Good communication skills and soft skills to connect with users and internal stakeholders.

Advantages:

For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
