Then come join us now as our Enzyme Technology Intern starting September 2025 in our Utrecht Research Centre!
You will be part of the Enzyme & Biotech team, contributing to projects aimed at developing the next generation of techno- and bio-functional ingredients that contribute to the innovation pipeline of Danone. Under the supervision of an Enzyme Technology scientist, you will support investigate how enzymes can improve the techno and sensory functionality of proteins and how to apply them in product applications across the Danone business categories. You will have the opportunity to co-build and conduct an innovative research project and apply your discoveries in lab- and pilot-scale product prototypes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Learn new methodologies and get familiar with corporate way of working by providing hands-on support for ongoing projects, as needed

You are currently a student pursuing a Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Biotechnology, or a related field. You have practical laboratory experience and a good theoretical understanding of proteins, enzymes, and bioprocessing. You are highly motivated, enthusiastic, and up for a challenge. You have good communication skills and can work both independently and in a team. You are proactive, can adapt quickly, and are not afraid of taking initiatives and bringing your own creative and innovative ideas to the team.
