About Demcon

Demcon Industrial Systems develops and realizes industrial systems for the broad market of mechanical engineering and are focused on production technology. Our projects range from small precision machines to larger automated production lines. These can be special (sub)modules, but also complete turn-key systems for the customer. In our multidisciplinary teams of engineers we work on various projects such as a sorting machine for seeds or a folding machine for medical mesh.

What are you going to do?

As a mechanical engineer, you will work in a multidisciplinary project team. You are responsible for the success of the mechanical part of our mechatronic concepts and systems. You think along as early as the concept phase and are involved up to and including the development into a complete construction file on the basis of which the design can be manufactured. During the realization phase you are involved in the outsourcing of mechanical parts and in supervising the assembly. Then you help with the testing and commissioning of the systems both internally and also at a customer site.

What do you bring to the table?

• A completed HBO or WO degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Passion for production and automation technology and broad technical interest;
• Knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks), mechanical construction principles;
• Design analysis methods, such as “Design for assembly / production”;
• You are results-oriented, work accurately and have good communication skills;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
