Software Engineer

Join the Demcon software engineering team! As a junior software engineer you will work together with experienced colleagues to develop systems that, for example, improve animal welfare or take a step forward in the semiconductor industry.

What are you going to do?

For tomorrow's solutions, you have to work today. At DEMCON high-tech systems you work for many different customers in different market segments. The work is varied, one moment you are working on a research and analysis tool for the semiconductor industry or helping to develop a smart water meter. The diversity of customers is reflected in the challenging technical solutions from microcontrollers, PLC to PC applications. With a big similarity that you always control hardware! To this end, you work together in a project team with other experts in the fields of software, mechanics, electronics and systems engineering.

What do you bring to the table?

• You have a technical background at HBO or WO level in electrical engineering, software engineering or similar;
• You have a broad interest in technology and software engineering;
• You are result-oriented and have an energetic and driven attitude, with ambition to further develop yourself and grow in your profession;
• Some knowledge and experience with controlling hardware;
• Some knowledge or experience in object-oriented programming languages such as (C++, C#, Python) on different platforms such as (Windows, PLC, Linux) or microcontrollers (STM32) or interest to develop further in this;
• Furthermore, you are analytical, have a good conceptual ability, customer-oriented, result-oriented, hands-on and a real team player;
