Your role

An IT Specialist with 5-8 years of work experience who solves unique but definite problems. Works systematically: apply well known methods, techniques and tooling to achieve concrete and known results (project wise). Offers professional arguments as the basis for making choices and reasoning with colleagues and users. Actively looks for opportunities to improve existing tools & work processes. A proactive person who is eager to learn new tools, scripting to automate manual processes and who understands consequences of own actions well and takes these into consideration to anticipate problems.

The ALM team is part of the ICT department and consists of 9 skilled professionals with different nationalities, ages and expertise. Most of the managed applications are related to the software development process (requirement-, test-, change- and release-management).

Because of the growth in the number of users and requests from internal stakeholders, we are looking for an IT specialist who holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science to join the ALM team with previous work experience on ALM/CI/CD tools.

What will you be doing (Responsibility)

  • Handling incoming questions / issues from the end-users on ALM Applications.
  • Translate user questions / suggestions / issues into structural improvement requests / requirements.
  • Managing the user/access administration of the ALM Applications.
  • Automation of existing administration processes.
  • Supporting colleagues within the team on other topics.
  • Restoring the services/ applications during disruptions.
  • Monitoring the applications using relevant applications.
  • Building a strong & healthy relationship with the stakeholders.

What do we ask from you (Education, Skills)

For the execution of these tasks, you need to have the following traits:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of work experience
  • Strong team-player with a pro-active attitude.
  • Eager to learn new skills/applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and coding/scripting knowledge – PERL, Python etc.
  • Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Linux OS, Docker, CI/CD processes is a pre.
  • Expected proficiency on below:
  • Atlassian Jira – Mandatory to have previous work experience on any Problem Management/ Change Management Tool.
  • Atlassian Bitbucket – Mandatory to have previous work experience on any applications for using git operations.
  • Atlassian Bamboo – Mandatory to have previous work experience on any CI/CD tools.
  • Atlassian Confluence
  • JFrog Artifactory

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4750 to € 6450 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
