Media Manager Luxe at L'Oréal

Division: Luxe Benelux

Location: Hoofddorp

To strengthen the position of Luxe within the rapidly growing and complex media landscape, we are looking for a Media Manager. This role is part of the L’Oréal Luxe Division. At L'Oréal Luxe our portfolio is composed of 26 brands of which 17 are global brands, including major brands, highly-aspirational and multi-expert, such as Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent and Giorgio Armani.  You will report into the Head of Consumer Engagement, as part of the CMO team.

The role

Today, Luxe media is functioning as a strong machine, leading the way in beauty marketing, being a critical touch point in supporting our brand objectives and reaching new target audiences. As Media Manager you will lead the way by creating a unified full funnel vision and will have a strong focus on bringing innovation and magic with a strong digital footprint. You will maximize media investment effectiveness and drive profitable growth for L'Oréal Luxe brands within the Benelux Hub through strategic media partnerships and data-driven campaign execution and will fulfill a supporting & connecting role as media expert towards the organization.

We are looking for:

  • A digital native, data savvy media expert
  • With affinity with retail media & data audiences
  • Eager to drive innovation, test & learn and keep up with market trends
  • Strong in stakeholder management feeling confident in interacting with multiple communities in/outside L'Oréal (e.g. marketing, sales, CDMO, agencies)
  • Self steering and an easy collaborator - managing up and down
  • Setting organization up for success by being able to zoom out for future optimalisation as well as willing to get hands dirty to drive innovation at the speed of light

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Guardian of strategic framework & division strategy on full funnel media
  • Build full funnel division media strategy based on rules of engagement and leading annual brand plan cycles.
  • Develop data-driven media investment strategies aligned with brand objectives, driving increased conversions and enhanced brand visibility.
  • Strategic counterpart and key contact for media agency and CDMO media team
  • Business partner for Business Units + E-COM community as 1st POC questions and escalations, responsible for successful collaboration with media agency and strong media results
  • Drive the media Test & Learn agenda and platform/format innovations in col
  • Upskilling yourself and the organization by attending platform QBR’s (Tiktok, Meta, Amazon, Google, etc.), organize upskilling sessions and drive media & division QBR’s
  • Analyze local media campaigns performance data and providing actionable insights leading to continuous campaign performance improvement.
  • Support data strategy (1P, 2P, 3P) for division, including clean room acceleration and creation of insight based audience profiles to facilitate personalization
  • Support division eventing media strategy together with e-activation lead

Competencies & experiences:

  • University degree (MSc)
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French pre
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in (digital) marketing, preferable in a media role
  • Learning mindset, eager to test & learn and drive innovation
  • Easy collaborator, good stakeholder management skills
  • Self steering and strong sense of ownership
  • Data savvy, strong analytic skills
  • Fluent in Full Funnel planning whilst aware of latest media trends
  • Managing complexity
