THE ROLE
As a Social Brand Manager at Wella Company, you’ll be an integral part of our dynamic marketing and communications team, gaining firsthand experience in a global organization with a presence in multiple markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of Paid, Owned, and Earned media through a hands-on role in influencer marketing and communications.
You’ll support the planning and execution of influencer strategies across Wella’s diverse brand portfolio, contributing to everything from influencer sourcing and campaign execution to performance analysis and content strategy. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Social Media, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, and Brand Managers—you’ll help ensure influencer initiatives align with broader marketing goals and deliver measurable impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Influencer Sourcing & Relationship Management: Identify, recruit, and maintain relationships with relevant influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors who align with Wella Company’s diverse brand portfolio. Continuously seek new influencer partnerships to expand brand reach and impact.
- Performance Tracking & KPI Management: Define, track, and analyse influencer marketing KPIs, including engagement rates, reach, impressions, and video views. Provide regular performance reports and optimize strategies based on insights.
- Campaign Execution & Collaboration: Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand goals and digital marketing strategies. Work closely with the SoMe Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, E-commerce team, and Brand Managers to integrate influencer content into wider marketing initiatives.
- Influencer Database & Trend Monitoring: Maintain an up-to-date database of influencers, monitoring their performance, audience demographics, and brand fit. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging influencer talent, and new social media platforms to keep Wella Company brands at the forefront of influencer marketing.
- Contract Negotiation & Budget Management: Manage influencer agreements, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met. Negotiate contracts that maximize value while maintaining strong, long-term influencer relationships.
- Content Strategy & Brand Alignment: Ensure influencer-generated content aligns with brand voice, values, and visual identity. Provide creative guidance to influencers to maintain authenticity while driving brand messaging.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including Brand Managers, Social Media, Digital Marketing, and E-commerce—to maximize influencer impact across all digital touchpoints and customer journeys.
- Reporting & Insights: Compile campaign reports with key learnings and recommendations to continuously optimize influencer marketing efforts. Present data-driven insights to key stakeholders to guide future strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing within the beauty or fashion industry, with a proven ability to develop and execute impactful strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram, and the influencer landscape, including trends and best practices.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting strategies to evolving market trends and business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and negotiate effectively with influencers and media partners.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbally.
- Beauty and/or fashion industry knowledge is a must.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure campaign performance and inform strategic decisions.
