Your challenges

CIO Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (30%):

  • Develop and manage communication strategies for the Office of Global CIO, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information both internally and externally.
  • Draft and review communications, including emails, reports, and presentations, to maintain a consistent and professional tone.
  • Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events for the CIO's office, including meetings, conferences, and other engagements.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, and ensure seamless event execution.
  • Support CIO stakeholder engagement, understanding key needs, issues and concerns and addressing through meetings, events and other communication methods to promote understanding and commitment.
  • Connect with stakeholders in ways to strengthen relationships and trust through positive relationships.

Global Enterprise Executive Operations (30%):

  • Perform operational tasks at the Global Enterprise domain level under direction of the Executive Strategy and Operations Director.
  • Define internal process flows, identifying bottlenecks, and participating in the coordination of solving these bottlenecks under direction of the Executive Strategy and Operations Director.
  • Analyze potential solutions and create recommendations based on expected benefits, costs and overall value.
  • Implement and monitor processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track and follow up on action items that arise from key strategic discussions, ensuring timely completion and accountability.
  • Maintain a detailed record of action items and their status.
  • Provide regular progress reports to leadership on actions and key initiatives.

Team Collaboration and Key Performance Indicators (20%):

  • Foster collaboration and build partnerships within the Global Enterprise Technology domain and across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Support development of a culture where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives by understanding motivations, engagement and building a sense of energy to achieve common goals.
  • Facilitate honest, open communication and coordination among team members to enhance productivity and teamwork.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the operations.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Domain-Level Budget and Human-Related Processes (20%):

  • Coordinate domain-level budget processes, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources, working closely with business managers.
  • Support domain-level human-related processes, including staffing, performance management, and employee development.
  • Align processes to comply with policies and procedures.

The role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the CIO's office. Responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including managing CIO communications, coordinating events, overseeing Global Enterprise domain-level operations, tracking action items from key strategic discussions, fostering team collaboration, monitoring key performance indicators, and coordinating domain-level budget and human-related processes.

The role will also involve supporting the Executive Strategy and Operations Director in defining internal process flows, identifying bottlenecks, and participating in the coordination of solving these bottlenecks. This position requires a proactive approach to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.

This is what you bring

  • 7+ years of experience in IT services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 usage
  • Familiarity with financial and procurement processes
  • Strong coordination and management skills required in coordinating internal processes and action items
  • Excellent communication skills in English - both verbal and written with ability to communicate to C-level stakeholders
  • Experience managing resources in a fast moving environment with evolving requirements and accelerated timelines, be able to thrive in a high pressure, business critical professional services environment
  • Experienced on business operations of GT&K processes and can synthesize information to recommend a plan of action
  • Experience working with multi-cultural, multi-discipline, globally dispersed teams
  • Demonstrated success in building constructive working relations across the different teams, functions, cultures, genders and demonstrate KPMG behaviours and value
  • A desire to learn and grow, as well as a desire to help others do so
  • Confidence in dealing with managers and executives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic environment, multi-task, prioritize activities and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems, accurately defining key elements of complex, ambiguous situations
  • Ability to navigate and manage relationships with executives and senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Skilled in developing clear and concise communication, fostering collaboration, and driving business results through systematic approaches and regular usage of shareable solutions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong coordination and management skills required in coordinating high volume demand, with customer centric mindset and diligence in planning against business priorities
  • Master organizer and project planners who consistently look ahead and anticipate needs before they arise
  • Strong ability to manage work across multiple projects or work streams to ensure that expected progress is made.
  • Must be natural problem solvers who is analytical and structured in their thinking. Ability to create order out of chaos by identifying systems and processes in need of adjustment
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing generative AI-powered solutions such as Microsoft Copilot to enhance operational excellence
  • Excellent presentation, documentation and communication skills in English
