THE ROLE
We are a fast-growing scale-up in the carbon industry with locations in the Netherlands, US and Canada. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our team by owning full-cycle recruitment for key roles across the business. You will partner closely with hiring managers across multiple departments, shape the candidate experience, and contribute to strategic talent projects that support our rapid growth.
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple roles, from job scoping through to offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience;
- Collaborating with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, team dynamics, and culture fit.
- Drafting compelling job descriptions and creating sourcing strategies that attract top, diverse talent.
- Guiding and training hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, candidate evaluation, and the overall hiring process.
- Utilizing various recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks, to source and attract qualified candidates;
- Screening and evaluating candidates' qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit through interviews and assessments;
- Building a talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles.
- Tracking metrics and using data to continuously improve hiring efficiency and candidate quality.
- Partnering with the Talent & overall People team on employer branding, onboarding, and DEI initiatives.
- Using ATS and other tools to maintain organized and compliant hiring workflows.
- Innovating our recruitment practices and leveraging data to create, measure, and scale intelligent recruiting strategies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of experience in tech recruitment, with at least 3 years in in-house recruitment;
- Ideally experience in a start-up or scale-up environment in a fast-moving multinational organisation;
- Proven experience with headhunting, innovative sourcing, outreach campaigns, and building talent communities;
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems;
- You are highly organized with an ability to work on multiple roles simultaneously, managing your own schedule and priorities, with a focus on deliverables;
- It is a plus if you have experience recruiting in the US and / or Canada, or an understanding of the North American labor markets;
- You have strong communication skills (fluency in English is a must);
- You have a data-driven mindset and like to make changes based on previous results;
- You possess a flexible and can-do attitude, willing to take on new challenges and adapt to evolving situations;
- You are solution-oriented and enjoy solving problems to keep processes moving forward;
- You like to win and take pride in closing roles and building high-performing teams.
- You are based in the Netherlands, within commuting distance to Amsterdam.
