Únete a Just Eat Takeaway.com como Senior Corporate Communications Manager

Ready for a challenge

Then Just Eat Takeaway.com might be the place for you. We’re a leading global online food delivery platform, and our vision is to empower everyday convenience. Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery, and convenience partners across the globe.

About this role:

The Central Corporate Communications team is responsible for building and protecting JET’s reputation through proactive media outreach and issues and crisis management.

As our Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will lead strategic projects to manage global reputational impact. Collaborating closely with leadership and various business units, you will independently develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies and messaging for corporate business topics. Your responsibilities will also include building and maintaining our global media network and crafting corporate narratives.

Reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Communications, you will be an integral part of a small Central team, working in close collaboration with in-market Corporate Communications Managers and cross-functional teams across the organization. Your role will also involve preparing toolkits with communication materials and briefings for interviews and speaking engagements. Leveraging your passion for communications, you will stay informed on the latest relevant media topics and industry trends.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Develop and lead external communications for key strategic projects to safeguard and enhance the business's reputation. You are responsible for creating proactive campaigns and narratives on key global business topics to strengthen brand reputation. This includes leading international, cross-market campaigns and supporting local markets in their execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on crisis communications, providing counsel to the wider business on potential reputational issues and developing communication strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, from senior leadership and many cross-functional departments to couriers, to develop communication strategies and materials, including press releases, reactive statements, and Q&As.
  • Build and maintain strong media relations with Tier 1 international media. You will educate journalists (in business, tech, and financial media) and other stakeholders about our business, our services for restaurant partners, our business models, and more. You will also be a key team member of our central press office, which includes rotational evening and weekend monitoring (approximately once every four weeks).
  • Prep and accompany media training and briefing company spokespeople in preparation for media engagements.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Demonstrated experience in owning, leading, and managing communication strategies from inception to completion.
  • Extensive experience in external corporate communications within a fast-paced environment or department, such as a press office handling media relations and operating under tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing narratives. Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling communications. You should possess a strong news sense and contribute to the creation of media materials for proactive campaigns and news stories.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong planning and project management skills.
  • A respectful, collaborative, and proactive work ethic, with the ability to adapt swiftly to a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Fluent or native proficiency in English (written and spoken), coupled with strong overall communication skills.
