Transaction Management (TM) Model Management is a new team in TM Control Standards. The scope of the TM function has become global. The team is a result of merging the Model Management teams of Retail NL and W&R. This also applies to the Model Functionalities, which has become a new function within Model Management. To support the team’s deliverables, the Model Functionalities team is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Functionality Expert.

The team is responsible for developing, implementation and improvement of the model related functionalities. E.g. Customer Segmentation, Auto Assessed Events, List Management, the Lookback Strategy. Another key responsibility is the ownership of the Forecasting capability and the TM Library.

Your Responsibilities

  • Involvement in all matters relating to TM model related functionalities, including documentation and content, management of risks and issues (working closely with the TM Model Risk team) and determining the strategic roadmap.
  • Maintain effective and fit-for-purpose set up of Money Laundering and Terrorism Finance detection model functionalities like, customer segmentation and auto assessment in close cooperation with our model developer (FEC Tech), ensuring that they are fit for purpose and met the bank’s global standards, the Wwft, Wft and associated regulations
  • Collaborate globally in a high complex stakeholder field with risk, compliance, operations, regulators and other key stakeholders to maximise regulatory compliance and benefits realisation.
  • Providing clear direction and support to the team, ensuring that their work aligns with the bank's overall strategy and goals.
  • Provide leadership, direction and guidance to colleagues and encourage sharing of best practice
  • Ensuring that the team has the necessary resources, tools, and technology to deliver on their responsibilities effectively.
  • Providing coaching and development opportunities for junior team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on their responsibilities.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the bank's AML/CTF program is aligned with industry best practices.

You and your talent

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree
  • You have at least 5 years relevant work experience in FEC preferably Transaction Monitoring
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the area of TM compliance and regulations, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and emerging trends
  • Knowledge of international innovation and trends regards TM
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to continuously innovate the coverage framework
  • A lean and agile mindset, always seeking continuous improvement
  • Above all; you have a positive presence and are ready to make a difference
  • You master the English language in word and writing
