As part of the Communications & Engagement Team, you contribute to an engaging and inspiring work environment in which our ever-growing team of 10,000+ employees and 500+ team leads can get the best out of themselves. You create communication for strategic change projects and drive our internal communication calendar around Picnic’s mission and values. Together with your colleagues from the International Communications & Engagement team, you will work to realize our mission: to be the best place to work for our employees! 😊
Strategic communication development: You’ll create compelling communication material, from storytelling around Picnic’s values to large-scale updates like wage changes.
Awareness campaign creation: Plan and run exciting campaigns that help us reach our business goals, whether that’s raising safety awareness or getting more employees to fill out our annual satisfaction survey.
Internal content production: You’ll craft and share regular internal news sharing to keep all employees informed and connected.
Employee engagement enhancement: Help boost employee satisfaction and keep everyone engaged by making our internal communications clear, fun, and effective. You’ll make sure everyone feels part of Picnic.
Audience-centric communication: Tailor our communication to the different target audiences, create and maintain a clear tone-of-voice across our communication.
Channel optimization: Improve the effectiveness of our communication channels - from Slack, TV to Teamwork app. Your job is to make sure messages reach and resonate with all employees.
Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from people, fulfilment, distribution, or safety teams and maintain a feedback loop with employees, to ensure alignment and that everyone’s needs are being met.
Finished Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferably in Communication, Communication Sciences, Journalism or similar)
0–3 years of professional experience in the field of internal communication and/or copywriting
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Basic knowledge of German and/or French would be a plus
Creative strength: you can package ideas and topics both textually and verbally in an understandable and target group-specific way, you're a strong copywriter
Organizational skills: you can manage multiple projects simultaneously, push timelines even when working across departments and different stakeholders, you coordinate communication plans from concept to execution
Journalism mindset: you have the ability to create news, you can engage and delight people with written communication
