Junior Technical Trainer

Your Role

As a Technical Trainer, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver technical training for our customers and Vanderlande employees. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills and expertise in technical training, while representing our products, team, and organization with enthusiasm and innovation.

Your Department

Based in Veghel, our Global Learning & Content Development department is responsible for training and documentation for Airports, Parcel, and Warehouse projects worldwide. We also support the Technology business unit by delivering product manuals. Our team of around 35 professionals works from various offices globally, ensuring our customers and employees understand how to build, operate, and maintain our systems safely.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training courses, mainly for Warehouse Solutions and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems.
  • Develop, update, and revise training materials.
  • Monitor knowledge levels within Customer Service Centres and provide training support as needed.
  • Collaborate with R&D on new product development and essential competencies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment, interacting with sales, project teams, engineering, R&D, and service operations.

Your Profile

  • Technical education background (HTS or PTH), preferably in IT/electrical/electronic fields.
  • Experience in training and digitalization (e-learning, augmented reality, etc.).
  • Some experience in automated industrial systems
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Field experience and familiarity with computer programs and diagnostic tools.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Results-oriented, determined, and confident.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel abroad up to 40-50% of the time.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €3.646 up to €5.000 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
