Corporate Lending Marketing Officer

We’re seeking a driven and dynamic Corporate Lending Marketing Officer to join our high-performing team in Amsterdam.

In this role, you’ll deliver end-to-end financing solutions for our diverse client base in industries like commercial real estate, tourism and hospitality, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, and renewable energy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify and onboard new corporate clients, with a focus on the Dutch market.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and present them to the credit committee for approval.
  • Negotiate terms with clients and collaborate with internal/external legal teams on loan and security documentation.
  • Coordinate with valuers, third parties, and compliance/KYC teams to ensure seamless loan execution.
  • Manage ongoing daily client-related business and relationship.

Who You Are:

  • A self-motivated, target-oriented professional with a proven ability to see projects through to completion.
  • Native-level fluency in Dutch and fluent in English (spoken and written), with exceptional communication skills to build strong client rapport.
  • 4-9 years of experience in the Dutch banking industry, ideally in corporate lending, with a quantifiable track record of success.
  • Full of energy and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel and engaging with clients.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment capabilities, with experience evaluating complex borrower profiles and transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, i.e., finance, banking, economics, accounting, business administration, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in structuring loans (including syndicated loans) and interpreting financial models.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of aligning client and bank interests.
  • In-depth familiarity with KYC, AML, and Dutch regulatory compliance standards (e.g., DNB and EU frameworks).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office for financial modeling and presentations.
  • Experience with loan documentation and security structures in the Dutch market.
  • Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) financing trends, particularly in renewable energy or sustainable projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
