Senior Backend Engineer (Business Banking)

As Senior Engineer you take the product to the next level. You develop software, creating clean and maintainable code which helps with building an expanding product. Your tailor-made code seamlessly integrates our products with customers’ systems. You ensure our solutions are tested, accessible, extensible, maintainable, secure and perform well. You have great attention for detail, and can help principals and leads get a perspective on the full picture. In this role, you work in an empowered team of highly skilled software developers, QA engineers, scrum masters, and product owners. You get the opportunity to provide guidance to other Software Engineers, and you are encouraged to introduce your own ideas and challenge others.

What you'll do

You seamlessly integrate Backbase platform with our customers’ systems, while focusing on the back-end part of the implementation.

You are exposed to all capabilities of the Backbase Platform.

You work together with our top-notch engineers to ensure our product keeps growing and stays best-in-class and are instrumental in cross-tribe alignment. You don’t shy away from learning new technologies and best-practices because you always push the envelope to the next level.

You are a part of the project team and thrive working with colleagues from multiple cultures. You encounter situations that demand prompt, yet smart actions.

You coach a team of developers on the client and partner side and provide training to those who work with the platform.

Who you are

  • Min 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or similar/related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
  • Excellent English speaking, writing and presentation skills.
