Your Role in Our Story:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a strong background in fast-growing tech companies and a proven history of scaling a company from a small start-up to a large enterprise. This position requires a dynamic individual with experience in a scale-up environment, who is eager to engage in hands-on tactical tasks and think strategically in collaboration with senior management. You will support the Digital, Operations, and IT departments of ACT, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across these key areas. The successful candidate will have a global mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR teams in the US and APAC regions.

  • Build relationship and trust with business leaders to shape, align and implement the function’s strategy into execution of the ACT people strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with the HRPB’s in Europe, US and APAC. Collaborate with the HR CoE partners in Recruitment, Learning & Development, Reward, HR Operations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the (senior) managers on talent management, organizational development and employee engagement.
  • Effectively drive change management initiatives and ensure smooth transitions in HR transactional processes (inflow, development, health, and exit) and policies across various countries in EMEA and in collaboration with the other regions.
  • Participate in and support HR initiatives, take the lead in communication strategies for HR projects and take part in initiatives that promote a positive work culture. Help develop new people policies and processes.
  • Proactively engage with (senior) managers across the Digital, IT and Operations functions that have different people agendas and are in different phases of their growth journey.
  • Define the workforce needs of the future, looking into skills gaps, discuss with leaders short term and longer term goals. Explore various forms of employment (employees, contractors, EOR).
  • Support in teambuilding activities, advise on labour laws in countries in EMEA to ensure compliance (work with Legal team).
  • Use WorkDay data and exit data to advise and coach on improvements.

Your Expertise:

  • Proven HRBP experience (minimum 5 years) in organizational change, employee relations, talent development and retention. Has worked regionally (EMEA) or globally.
  • Experience with total rewards is a plus, as is good knowledge of Dutch labour law.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across all level organization, on-site and remote teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into HR Initiatives and solutions.
  • Fluency in English. Dutch speaker or other European languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret HR data and provide valuable insights.
  • Results-driven mentality.
  • You are adaptable, resilient and understand cultural differences
  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
