Your Impact

As a key member of the Amsterdam recruiting team of 6 people, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our office by focusing on campus recruitment and organizing impactful recruitment events. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategies to attract top talent from universities, managing relationships with student and study associations, and coordinating recruitment events that reflect McKinsey's values and culture. Next to the attraction of talented junior talent, you will work on the assessment and cultivation. This includes building personal relationships with target candidates, managing a healthy pipeline, supporting the interview process, cultivating relationships in celebration events, and work on strategic initiatives to improve our talent acquisition strategies. Our goal is to make sure each candidate has a great experience.

Your qualifications and skills

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree
• Initial experience in recruitment and event organization
• Excellent organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
• Ability to build strong working relationships with students, our own consultants at all levels and recruiting colleagues
• Collaborative team player with a self-starter attitude
• Flexibility to host recruitment events in the evening
• Drive and energy to play an active role in all aspects of the recruiting process and to continuously improve our recruiting efforts
• Effective communication skills in both English and Dutch, verbally and in writing
