To strengthen our HR department we are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor and provide expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters, contributing to the optimization and relevance of our HR activities. You will work in a team of 4 HR professionals and report to the Head of People & Culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Collaboration: Partner with management to understand their strategic goals and provide HR support to achieve them. Offer coaching and support to managers on HR-related topics.
  • Strategic HR Projects: Manage HR projects and initiatives that stem from IBFD's strategic goals, ensuring alignment with our overall business strategy.
  • Policy Development: Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment and support organizational goals.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both managers and employees.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure we attract and retain talent.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and advising management accordingly.
  • Cross-Organizational Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization, from executive leadership to individual employees, ensuring HR strategies and initiatives are understood and embraced throughout the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, HR or Business Administration and 4 to 6 years relevant HR experience. Experience in the role of HR BP is required. Plus a proven track record of successfully managing HR projects and initiatives in an international environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations. Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that support organizational goals.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, with the ability to ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Understanding of the Dutch language, both written and spoken, is also required to effectively communicate with Dutch entities such as the UWV and to fully comprehend Dutch laws and regulations.
