As an Airport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic long term and sustainable expansion, optimization, and development of airports and airport facilities. Your responsibilities include translating traffic demand into functional requirements for facilities and infrastructure, both airside and landside. You will be creating flexible and robust development plans that serve as strategic guidelines for airport expansion, ensuring alignment with traffic requirements on a no-regret basis. Your expertise will ensure that airport infrastructure evolves seamlessly in response to growing traffic demands, enhancing the efficiency and functionality of airport operations.

As Airport Planner you will become part of our Business Unit Aviation. This is one of the smaller and more boutique units of Royal HaskoningDHV that operates worldwide as the renowned consultancy brand NACO Netherlands Airport Consultants. NACO is a world-leading airport consultancy and engineering firm with 75 years of experience working in the aviation and air transport industry – from major international hubs to smaller regional airports. As an Airport Planner, you will become a part of the Advisory Group Airport Strategy & Planning and will work with our clients located all over the world.
Our team collaborates closely with other Business Units of Royal HaskoningDHV, enabling us to deliver the full spectrum of airport planning, engineering, architecture design and logistics management. We act as a one-stop shop for aviation for our clients. We run our aviation business from our office located in The Hague, The Netherlands. The airport strategy & planning department, of which you become part, consists of around 60 colleagues ranging from architects, planners, airport engineers and aviation consultants to special systems experts, security specialists and simulation experts.
