At AIHR we're looking for a Frontend Engineer (Angular/Typescript) to join our team.
Do you thrive in a fast-paced scale-up setting where adaptability and open-mindedness are essential? If so, we’d love to have you on our team!
We are building and maintaining a cutting-edge learning platform in an AWS cloud ecosystem powered by the latest Angular technologies and .NET-based distributed services. We believe great products happen through strong collaboration, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement—values we look for in our next Front-End Software Engineer.
Our Product and Engineering teams are on a mission to create and maintain the best learning platform using the latest technologies and best practices. Our primary goal is to ensure efficient and valuable collaboration through high-quality development, brainstorming sessions, experiments, and A/B tests when necessary. You will join our Engineering team and report directly to Gustavo, Head of Engineering.
Develop and maintain web applications with engaging features using Angular 17+, TypeScript, SCSS, RXJS, NX, Redux, and Jest. You’ll translate complex requirements into engaging, user-friendly features.
Work closely with multicultural teams—product managers, designers, and fellow engineers—to plan, refine, and implement new front-end functionalities. Clear communication and empathy will be key to success.
Continuously refine front-end code to meet a growing platform's evolving performance and scalability needs. You’ll help ensure we can pivot quickly as business priorities shift.
Debug, troubleshoot, and provide innovative solutions to front-end issues. Propose tools and libraries that enhance performance and help the team adapt to new technologies.
Keep on top of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. You’ll help the team remain nimble in a rapidly changing environment.
We’re looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. You should also have a passion for developing applications and delivering high-quality code.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent professional experience.
1-3 years of experience in front-end software development, focusing on Angular (version 17+) and TypeScript.
Proficiency with front-end tooling (GIT, Angular, NX, Redux) and familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest.
Good understanding of JS, TS, SCSS, RXJS, and front-end best practices for performance optimization.
Experience working with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
Experience in financial services is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for delivering high-quality code and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Comfortable navigating changing requirements, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
Open and transparent communicator who values team success.
Able to work through obstacles and learn from setbacks without losing momentum.
Eager to explore new tools, frameworks, and ideas for the betterment of the product and team.
Self-driven committed to delivering high-quality solutions and seeing tasks through to completion.
Bonus Points: Our back-end and infrastructure involve .NET, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, AWS, and DataDog. Familiarity with these is helpful but not mandatory. However, being open to expanding your skill set and collaborating across different tech stacks will set you apart.
