SAF Standards & Reporting Manager

Join us and take the lead in shaping the future of our product as a SAF standards & reporting manager!

The voluntary Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) market is evolving rapidly, and SkyNRG is looking for a SAF standards & reporting manager to help us navigate this complex landscape.

Your role:

You will be responsible for understanding the industry requirements, engaging with standard-setting bodies, and ensuring our commercial approach aligns with the market guidelines. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive business growth while shaping the future of voluntary SAF markets. In addition, you will be the go-to person for GHG calculations and SAFc reporting.

  • Lead and coordinate SkyNRG’s engagement in voluntary market standard-setting processes and working groups.
  • Achieve alignment between industry standards and SkyNRG’s sustainability and commercial strategies (sourcing, sales, and product development).
  • Monitor voluntary market requirements (e.g., sustainability standards, registry criteria) and translate them into actionable strategies for sourcing and sales activities.
  • Partner with the Policy & Sustainability team to understand and optimize for interactions between voluntary and compliance markets.
  • Oversee greenhouse gas accounting and reporting methodologies, ensuring accurate carbon calculations for internal and customer documentation.
  • Support customers in their SAF and SAF certificate (SAFc) accounting and reporting processes.

What we’re looking for:

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 7 years' work experience in a relevant field, e.g. carbon markets, biogas, renewable energy, or sustainability consulting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant sustainability topics, such as additionality, GHG accounting, LCA methodologies, biofuel/feedstock sustainability, and sustainability standards such as SBTi.
  • Experience participating in technical working groups and industry advocacy.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Book & Claim and other chain-of-custody models.
  • Understanding of sustainability reporting for SAF certificates or similar market-based instruments.

Studies have shown that women and members of minority groups are less likely to apply for a job unless they meet every single requirement. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
