The Assignment:

Consumables such as pallets, boxes, and other materials play a crucial role in operations. However, the current processes for ordering and consumption vary, leading to inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and potential operational challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The goal of this assignment is to analyze, align, and standardize the ordering and consumption methods for consumables, aiming for a one-fits-all process that enhances efficiency and consistency across the organization.

  • Process Analysis: Review existing ordering and consumption processes for different consumables.
  • Gap Identification: Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and process variations.
  • Best Practice Definition: Research industry standards and internal best practices.
  • Process Alignment: Develop a standardized approach that can be applied to all consumables.
  • Implementation Strategy: Define a roadmap for rolling out the new process, including stakeholder alignment and change management.

Expected Outcome:

A streamlined, unified ordering and consumption process that improves operational efficiency, reduces complexity, and ensures consistency across all consumable categories.
