In this internship, you will investigate various tools and methods to facilitate data collection (e.g. by using web scraping and/or APIs), as well as perform essential data cleaning to enhance data visualization. The goal is to provide strategic insights into the European truck workshop network to help us understand market trends and improve our competitive positioning. Analysis on the evolvement of networks over time allows us to adopt a data-driven approach in supporting strategic decision-making.

• Conduct independent (literature) research on tools and methodologies
• Build a robust and structured dashboard or report
• Formulate practical recommendations for follow-up and quality improvement
• Present your results professionally to the team

Jouw profiel

• HBO/WO study in Marketing/Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with data collection methods, such as web scraping and APIs.
• An interest in and basic knowledge of data cleaning and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau).

This internship is ideal for students looking to develop and apply both their analytical skills and soft skills in a practical setting and contribute to meaningful projects at a large international organization.

Afdeling

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is a division of PACCAR Inc., the parent company of DAF Trucks, and specializes in the distribution of parts and accessories. The department Market Intelligence & Business Development is responsible for performing market research and competitor analysis to identify new market and business opportunities for PACCAR Parts Europe. The department consists of a small team of young, motivated, innovative and open professionals, who create and implement new business tools for our dealer network as well as develop existing and new parts sales channels. The overall goal is to have an in-depth understanding of the parts- and transport market.

• A housing allowance, if you temporarily rent a room near DAF.

Each intern will have the opportunity to participate at the Student Event. During this event you will meet other interns and find out more about DAF/PACCAR!
