As a Data Analyst within the Customer & Marketing domain, you’ll play a critical role in analyzing customer behavior, uncovering insights and opportunities for improvement, and ultimately driving customer loyalty. You’ll work closely with the rest of our Customer Analytics team to understand customer needs, evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing efforts, and identify new opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

You’ll join a group of data professionals in the Customer Analytics team, that aims to make people, programs, and products in the customer and marketing organization more performant through data. This job is for the versatile analyst, one that is equally comfortable talking to data as to stakeholders. Your days vary but at the core you’ll use SQL/Tableau/dbt/git to provide metrics, datasets, analysis, and predictions that help the business make better decisions.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, identify key performance metrics, and develop and deliver reports and dashboards that track performance and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you’ll play a critical role in identifying and evaluating new data sources, tools, and techniques that can help us better understand our customers and improve our marketing efforts.
Some specific responsibilities include:
You’re an enthusiastic team player who lives and breathes analytics. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong analytical mindset, a passion for customer-centricity, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. You have experience working with SQL and dashboarding tools like Tableau/Looker Studio and are comfortable navigating and analyzing large, complex datasets. You’re also able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and have a knack for translating complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Your new role will be part of the Customer Analytics team at bol.com, where you will collaborate with 6+ talented analytics professionals. Together, you will support a variety of teams across Product, Marketing, Strategy, and Finance, driving customer loyalty, growth, and profit for the company. The Customer Analytics team has a rich history at bol, and has built a modern data stack on the Google Cloud Platform, including technologies like BigQuery, Git, Airflow, dbt, and Tableau, as well as a range of Python libraries that enable advanced analytics. You’ll be joining a team that is passionate about data and committed to quality, using cutting-edge tools and techniques to drive meaningful insights and business impact.
