Software Engineer (C#) Opportunity

What are you going to do?

Do you have experience as a Software Engineer with C# and do you have an affinity for hardware? Do you have a solution-oriented attitude and do you enjoy doing puzzles? Then read our vacancy for Software Engineer (C#) for the Test and Measurement Equipment (T&M) team!

The T&M team delivers State of the Art test systems for the different market groups within Nedap. These test systems are essential during the production of Nedap products at our production partners, which are located both inside and outside the Netherlands. As a Software Engineer (C#), you will be jointly responsible for building and maintaining our state-of-the-art test systems. The focus here is on software development for the test systems, in which reliability and future-orientedness are of paramount importance.

Your responsibilities

  • Software development: You will develop the software for our test systems;
  • Building and maintaining: You will create and keep our test systems operational;
  • Architecture: You keep an overview of the software architecture;
  • Optimising software: You implement improvements where necessary, both in architecture and software.

Your team

As a Software Engineer (C#), you will become part of the T&M team consisting of (experienced) colleagues with experience in software, hardware, embedded and project management. A test system does not just fall out of the sky: The development of test systems starts at R&D of the relevant market group with the creation of test specifications for the product to be tested. The T&M team uses this as a guide for setting up the hardware and software of the test system, striving as much as possible for a uniform set-up for both software, hardware and working methods.

During the development of both the product and the test system, there is a lot of mutual coordination between T&M and R&D. Besides building the testers, the T&M team is also responsible for maintaining the test systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Our offer

As a Software Engineer (C#) at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. You determine your own working hours and vacation days. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.

Required experience and skills

You are an enterprising and proactive person. It is important that you, as a Software Engineer (C#), have a problem-solving attitude and enjoy puzzling and finding out how things can be done better. You get satisfaction from delivering a problem-free reliable tester and do not shy away from challenges. You enjoy brainstorming on future-proof solutions and new technologies.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

  • Programming experience: You have three years' experience with object-oriented programming, preferably in C#;
  • Electronics experience: Some work experience in electronics and/or engineering in a similar position;
  • Software architecture: Overview in used software architecture and see areas for improvement;
