Role Overview

As Engagement Manager, you are a customer-focused leader, accountable for the successful delivery of solutions that meet client business needs. You will be motivated on building positive client relationships during projects through assessing the client’s needs, identifying customer requirements, and developing cohesive projects that improve the business operations with more efficient procedures and systems. This role involves analyzing business data to assess situations, assigning tasks to team members, and problem-solving when issues arise. You are strong communicators who are comfortable working with different teams and have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with the customer by setting the right expectations, providing regular updates, and being assertive when things go wrong
  • Take the lead in main customer meetings
  • Ensure customers have a clear understanding of our delivery methodology and all the tools in place for having visibility of the project’s status and progress
  • Prepare executive summary reports
  • Facilitate the sales to delivery process by ensuring the Services team can understand customer’s needs, their business, and how the proposal of value fits into those expectations
  • Work closely with Services team members to manage project schedules ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and in accordance with client’s requirements
  • Work closely with Services team members and customer's team to early detect risks that can have an impact on project's plans and clearly document them
  • Continually monitor and control the project scope, especially in some important milestones as: Kickoff, Workshops, and UAT ensuring all changes are captured, evaluated, communicated, escalated (if applicable) and implemented (If applicable)
  • Take the lead in the pre and post Go-live preparation activities by effectively coordinating communication with stakeholders and the service Services Team
  • Ensure the project's learned lessons are documented and any corrective action is put in place.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in software engineering, Computer Science, or related experience
  • 3+ years of consulting experience
  • 3 years of service management experience
  • Solid project management experience
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English, Dutch is nice to have
