Quality Assurance Officer

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Glasgow and drive process improvements, ensuring compliance, and optimizing performance. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively identify opportunities, and help shape the quality system in the company. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Provide expert advice and support to enhance site quality performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and other relevant certifications, such as Halal and Kosher.
• Assist the Quality Manager with the completion and archiving of customer questionnaires.
• Organize and support internal Safety, Health, and Environment and additional audits.
• Record and track corrective and preventive actions, including actions related to customer complaints.
• Assist in the implementation and management of the document control system.
• Support and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Analyze quality data and provide recommendations for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with various levels and departments within the organization.
• Ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, including ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Solution-oriented and results-driven approach to work.
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
