Senior Communications Manager

As a Senior Communications Manager in our global Business Communications team, you’ll manage communications in a key growth business within Philips as a trusted, senior advisor and content creator. You’ll report to the Director of Communications for Image Guided Therapy.

Your role:

  • Manage the planning and activation of the communications strategy and project-specific campaigns that support Image Guided Therapy’s ambitious way forward, inspiring confidence and engagement in our teams. This includes town halls, voice of leadership, written and video customer testimonials, leadership engagement communications, project-specific initiatives and event communications, to name a few.
  • Partner with a range of diverse stakeholders to build, develop, activate and measure internal and external campaigns. Your stakeholders include Senior leaders and management team members, Image Guided Therapy employees, External Relations, and functional / regional colleagues, among others.
  • Support external activation of content via thought leadership for the Chief Business Leader and Business Unit Leaders, as well as contribute to press releases and event communications and positioning.
  • Brief and collaborate with design and creative partners, both internal and external (agencies and vendors).
  • Develop written, visual and film content to bring strategic narratives, key messages and activation ideas to life with key audiences. Edit and publish across in- and external channels (Intranet, mass mail, Viva Engage, video platforms, etc.)
  • Bring a can-do attitude and ingenuity to tackling issues as they arise.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a university degree (Master’s preferred), with at least 7 years of experience in internal communications and employee engagement in an international matrixed / business environment.
  • Have strong communications planning + content creation skills – e.g. excellent messaging, copywriting/editorial skills, as well as video briefing – and ideally editing - ability and experience using internal engagement platforms.
  • Have excellent English language oral and written skills.
  • Able to think creatively and conceptualize to create engaging and unique content for employees.
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills: engaging, aligning and managing expectations.
  • Have strong project management and organizational skills, experienced collaborator working with multiple parties and teams, including external agencies.
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and able to make complex content simple and shine.
  • Experience working in healthcare and / or technology industries is an advantage.
