PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We’re seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our Corporate Communications team. The Communications Manager will play a key role in shaping and supporting Perfetti Van Melle’s global communication strategy. This role requires a versatile communicator with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to manage both internal and external communication initiatives. The Communications Manager will collaborate with different cross-functional teams and work closely with local and global agencies to align communication efforts with business objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, this role will oversee key digital platforms such as the company’s Intranet, LinkedIn channel, and corporate website, while also contributing to a wide range of initiatives that ensure consistent messaging, reflect PVM’s values, and enhance its global reputation. As our new Communications Manager you will have the freedom to take initiative, add value, and make a meaningful impact within a fast-growing team comprising Corporate Communications, Change Communications, and Consumer Care.

In short, your responsibilities look as follows:

• General Communications: Develop and manage communication strategies, creating content for internal platforms, the corporate website, and social media to highlight our values and achievements.
• Project Management: Lead communication projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support global campaigns.
• Brand and Reputation Management: Ensure consistent messaging that reinforces our reputation and builds stakeholder trust.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyze data, and provide insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 4–7 years of experience in corporate communications, with exposure to both internal and external communications in an international setting.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for various communication platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in managing digital communication tools, including Intranets, social media platforms, and websites.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You are already based in the Netherlands
• Analytical skills to evaluate communication effectiveness and deliver actionable insights.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and strong attention to detail.
