How you can make your mark

Your responsibilities as an operations manager:

You will assure a smooth operation of a group of vessels during planning, execution and completion phases of our projects. Your vessels will be mainly Ocean towing vessels but also can be CSVs and AHTSs. Your clients can be internal projects from our own department, projects from other business units and external clients operating in the renewables and O&G sectors.

  • As an operations manager you are responsible for the execution of charters and projects for a number of vessels from the BOMS fleet.
  • You will coordinate with vessel, crewing and fleet the mobilization execution and demobilization of the vessels under charter to fulfill the contractual requirements.
  • You will optimize the project result by adapting sailing strategies during contract execution.
  • You will align and manage expectations with clients for the vessel under charter.
  • You will give the commercial department support on operational matters in the pre-contract phase.
  • You will visit your vessels during mobilization and demobilization campaigns to ensure mobilization and demobilization within time and budget.
  • As a representative of Boskalis your will motivate and assure that all the works are executed following the NINA rules and values, in accordance with the Way of Working principles.

What you bring as an Operations Manager

  • You have at least a nautical or maritime background, with relevant working experience in the maritime industry;
  • You are a strong communicator in Nautical English;
  • You are assertive to share your project goals by involving the necessary stakeholders;
  • You’re analytical strong, and you work with accuracy.
