About the role

We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our headquarters in Amsterdam and support our mission to produce world-class video content and livestream events across the globe. In this role, you’ll ensure that everyone at NOMOBO can work seamlessly within our cutting-edge IT workflows and infrastructure.

Your day-to-day will include first-line support for hardware and software issues, managing user accounts and rights, monitoring office IT infrastructure in Amsterdam and Los Angeles, and optimizing workflows to stay ahead of security and operational challenges. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for providing advanced support, implementing systems, and ensuring network environments (offices, VPN, firewalls) operate smoothly across all our global operations. Your work will directly contribute to the reliable delivery of our video productions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st line support via Helpdesk Ticketing software.

• Manage office IT inventory, including ordering, preparing, maintaining, and distributing laptops, and production equipment.

• Oversee the administration of user accounts, application access, software licenses.

• Administer user rights and oversee device management through Jumpcloud.

• Monitor and maintain network environments, including Unifi Controller and AP setups, for offices in Amsterdam and Los Angeles (remote).

• Sysops for various server systems (Synology, Active Directory, Ubuntu, Windows Server)

• Collaborate with IT/Broadcast engineers to support production environments, including control rooms and edit suites.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Extensive experience with:

• Cisco Networks and VLAN management

• Unifi Controller and AP setups

• Windows 11 and macOS

• Google Workspace

• Jumpcloud for SSO/SCIM and mobile device management

• Synology NAS

• Vmware

• Microsoft Active Directory

1. Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of IT technologies and networks.

3. Organizational skills and adaptability to internal workflows.

4. Ability to make clear, concise decisions—sometimes under pressure.

5. Confidence and professionalism in client-facing situations.

6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate global operations.

7. Based in the Netherlands, preferably in the greater Amsterdam area.

Nice to have

Experience with:

• Fortinet Fortigate firewall management

• Peplink routers

• HP Anyware, ARS routers

• Broadcast IT equipment (e.g., Ross, Blackmagic Design, OBS, Softron)
