About the role

The Sr. Warehouse Manager at NOMOBO is responsible for overseeing the procurement and management of technical equipment and materials required for global projects. This includes optimizing resource management, ensuring equipment availability, and leading our operations of the 2 warehouses located in Amsterdam and LA efficiently. The role involves close collaboration with technical producers to assess project equipment needs, manage inventory, source missing equipment, and ensure timely assembly and readiness of assets for production.

Key Responsibilities

Main priorities:

  1. Warehouse Operations and Equipment Utilization

Main Focus: Ensure optimal equipment utilization to maximize productivity.

  • Inventory Oversight: Work with technical producers to assess the equipment needs for upcoming projects, ensuring availability from the warehouse.
  • Procurement and Outsourcing: If necessary equipment is unavailable, coordinate with external suppliers to outsource and source missing items, ensuring project scope is met on time.
  • Warehouse Preparation: Oversee the proper storage, handling, and maintenance of equipment to ensure it’s in optimal condition and ready for transport and use.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and prepare for the transport of equipment to production locations, ensuring that all items required for the project are delivered on time and in the correct condition.
  • Compliance and Safety: Enforce safety standards for handling and storing technical equipment, ensuring that NOMOBO's safety regulations and company policies are adhered to.
  1. Procurement and Supplier Management
  • Supplier Coordination: Develop relationships with suppliers of technical production equipment, ensuring timely availability of required assets and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Equipment Sourcing: Source specialized technical equipment as needed, in collaboration with the technical producers, to meet project requirements. Manage supplier relationships for both regular and ad-hoc equipment needs.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and market pricing to ensure NOMOBO is acquiring the best equipment at competitive prices.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Assess and evaluate suppliers based on the quality, reliability, and timeliness of their deliveries, ensuring they meet NOMOBO’s project needs.
  1. Staff and Resource Management
  • Workspace Leadership: Supervise warehouse crew and ensure efficient workflows, optimal storage practices, and adherence to safety guidelines when handling production equipment.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with technical producers and other departments to ensure that warehouse resources (staff, equipment, space) are aligned with project timelines and needs.
  1. Project Support and Coordination
  • Technical Producer Collaboration: Work directly with technical producers to understand project-specific equipment needs and ensure all required assets are ordered and available.
  • Assembly and Scope Preparation: Collaborate with the project teams to ensure that any missing equipment is sourced, and any necessary assembly is completed before transport.
  • Logistics Planning for Projects: Prepare equipment for transport to specific project locations, ensuring it meets all technical requirements for production setups and timelines.
  1. Data, Reporting, and Analysis
  • Inventory and Procurement Reporting: Track and report on inventory levels, procurement activities, and warehouse operations to ensure transparency and decision-making.
  • Cost Management: Monitor procurement budgets and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising the quality or timelines of the projects.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess warehouse performance, including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery rates, and equipment readiness.

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of technical production equipment and the ability to assess, procure, and manage such assets for video production projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to source and manage equipment quickly when issues arise, ensuring project timelines and requirements are met.
  • Collaboration: Strong team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work closely with technical producers, project managers, and external vendors.
  • Logistics Coordination: Expertise in managing logistics for the timely delivery and transport of production assets, ensuring they align with project schedules.
  • Vendor Management: Strong skills in selecting, negotiating with, and managing relationships with equipment suppliers to support project needs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, procurement, and/or logistics, ideally in the media, production, or technical industries.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software, inventory control systems, and Google Workspace.
  • 3+ years of working experience with Rentman is essential.
  • Familiarity with handling, storing, and transporting technical production equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

  • On-Time Delivery: Achieving timely procurement and transport of equipment to meet project schedules.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintaining accurate records of inventory, ensuring that equipment availability matches project needs.
  • Cost Efficiency: Achieving procurement goals within budget while maintaining high standards for equipment quality and availability.
  • Vendor Performance: Ensuring suppliers meet their delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Warehouse Readiness: Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, assembled, and prepped for transport before the project starts.

This role is pivotal in ensuring NOMOBO's projects are fully supported with the right equipment, sourced in a cost-effective manner, and prepared for smooth delivery to project sites, helping maintain the company's reputation for excellence in live broadcasts, digital events, and brand experiences.
