Join us in empowering all to fulfil their entrepreneurial potential!

Please note: Due to a shortage of student housing and to align with student visa requirements (if applicable), we require for your application to be considered that you are enrolled with a Dutch university (of applied sciences) or college (studying communications/ design/ marketing) and your internship is a required part of your study programme. You should also already be located in the Netherlands.

Are you passionate about entrepreneurship and do you have a hands-on mentality? We might have the right internship for you! As Intern Entrepreneurial Learning, you will be able to develop your project coordination skills in an environment that is dedicated to empower everyone to be entrepreneurial through building the right skills. To this end, we run entrepreneurship training programmes for students, entrepreneurs, teachers, and policymakers both in the Netherlands as well as abroad. As part of the education team, you support the smooth implementation of these programmes, working together with experienced trainers and project managers. In addition to the possibility to learn more about entrepreneurship and startups, we offer you the chance to get to know the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Rotterdam better, to build a network for your entrepreneurial career!

What you will work on:

  • Contribute to the coordination of our entrepreneurial learning programmes for students, entrepreneurs, teachers and policymakers;
  • Reach out and maintain contact with programme partners and participants, both in the Netherlands as well as abroad;
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate programme effectiveness and identify areas for improvement to maximise the positive societal impact of our activities;
  • Occasional support with research and facility coordination tasks.

We offer you

  • A great, entrepreneurial internship experience;
  • The opportunity to develop yourself in an environment in which you are encouraged to take ownership and responsibility;
  • The possibility of learning in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, education and (international) project management;
  • The chance to work in an Entrepreneurial, Collaborative team that always strives for Excellence (in line with our core values E – C – E)
  • An inspiring workplace at Microlab Rotterdam among 100+ startups (including rooftop bar, mini golf and ping pong table);
  • A unique opportunity to expand your network with startups, experienced entrepreneurs, scientists, innovators and policymakers;
  • An internship compensation of €500 per month on a fulltime basis.

Are you someone who:

  • Mandatory for your application to be considered: you are enrolled with a Dutch university (of applied sciences) or college and your internship is a required part of your study programme. You are already located in the Netherlands;
  • Is available for four to six months for at least four days per week as soon as possible;
  • Is ambitious, entrepreneurial and can work independently;
  • Is social and has a positive mindset and attitude (looking at challenges as opportunities instead of problems!);
  • Has a hands-on mentality and likes to get things done;
  • Is proficient (speaking and writing) in Dutch and English (required);
  • An advantage: has an affinity for entrepreneurship and innovation or has worked at an incubator, startup community, or startup facilitator.
