The Dynamics team, which is part of the Markets & Clients department, ensures that all business processes are in line with the organization's strategic goals. This means that every process, from customer service to finance, supports the overall mission and objectives of the company. This also means streamlining and improving core business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This involves identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to automate repetitive tasks.

Objective and responsibility of the position

The Functional Application Manager is responsible for monitoring and supporting our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Unified Operations and Customer Engagement) platform, along with additional add-ons like Subscription Billing Suite, AvaTax, and extended banking.

As Functional Application Manager, you will work closely together with process specialists and developers. You address and resolve incidents and perform setup changes in close collaboration with the Dynamics team and colleagues from other departments. You will act as the internal consultant, translating user requirements into effective solutions.

The Functional Application Manager Dynamics 365 reports to the Product Manager Dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and facilitate continuous improvements
  • Manage incidents and issues from various business units
  • Develop functional designs
  • Participate in deploying and documenting Dynamics processes together with the process specialists
  • Test updates, enhancements, and new versions of Dynamics software before release
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in the Dynamics 365 platform and how IBFD can benefit from these improvements

Skills and competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in functional knowledge, preferably extensive knowledge in one of the applications listed below and limited in the other:
  • Dynamics 365 CE (Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service)
  • Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance and Supply Chain Management)
  • Microsoft Power Platform / Dual Write integrations
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT or Business Administration
  • Technical application knowledge is a benefit
  • Functional Dynamics certification is a plus
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly understand workflows and processes
  • Self-starter with high sense of accountability
  • Managing time and available resources effectively
  • Good command of spoken and written English
