Supplier Quality Manager - Medical Devices (Zoetermeer – Fulltime /Hybrid)

Quality & Food Safety are essential for SN products due to the vulnerability of our consumers and increased vigilance of authorities.

The Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing supplier relationships, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enforce compliance with the requirements which are in line with the product classification chosen for NMD. Together with the 3PM and NMD team members, the NMD Supplier quality manager makes sure that Nutricia Medical Devices develops, manufactures, and delivers its products and services every day in a safe manner with the highest quality standards for the benefit of our consumers and patients.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Develop and implement supplier quality management program in accordance with ISO 13485, MDR, and NMD QMS, and in a way that ensures the scope remains applicable to the business context.
  • Develop KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of supplier quality management program and supplier performance.
  • Conduct supplier audits, monitoring, evaluation, and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ability to travel and visit suppliers on monthly or bi-monthly base.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage supplier quality documentation and records.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including RA, C&P, R&I, and marketing to address quality issues and ensure product quality.
  • Provide training and support to suppliers on quality requirements.
  • Participate in new supplier qualification and selection processes.
  • Ensure supplier quality management compliance with ISO 13485, MDR, and other relevant requirements.
  • Synergy and harmonise the ways of working between medical device and food 3PM quality management.
  • Perform Internal audits as applicable.

As Supplier Quality Manager, you interact on a daily base with the 3PM Manufacturers and other departments at Danone. Your way of working is structured and accurate.

Furthermore you have:

  • Finished education in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field;
  • Multiple years of experience in a Supplier Quality management within medical devices regulated environment;
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and MDR;
  • Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments;
  • Can-do attitude with resilience and flexibility;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Fluent in English is required;
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
