Payroll is an essential and integrated part of our HR team.

The HR department is led by the CHRO, who is member of the Robeco Executive Team and consists of 6 teams: HR Compensation & Benefits, HR Advisory, HR learning & Development, HR Analytics, Payroll and the HR Service Desk.

The payroll team is responsible for the correct and efficient execution of payroll for our colleagues in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, UK, Dubai and the US. The team acts as linking pin to payroll service providers and our accounting teams in the various countries. Furthermore the team is an expertise centre in the field of financial accounting and management reporting concerning internal staff. Amongst other this includes payroll, costs reporting and the accountability of incentives.

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Payroll Specialist.

Position & Requirements

  • The position involves a variety of activities, including:
  • Co- manage the daily operational execution and quality of the salary administration in all countries for which the payroll is or will be centralized;
  • Carrying out periodically checks, reporting and analysis;
  • Operational contact person for payroll providers, HR department, Global Mobility, Finance & Accounting and Fiscal Affairs;
  • Dealing with requests and questions regarding salary, benefits, tax and social security in a local and international context;
  • Continues improvement of the payroll administration.
  • Requirements:
  • You have a minimum of 5 years international payroll experience (Higher Educational level (HBO) working and thinking level);
  • Expert knowledge in Excel;
  • You are a result oriented team player and you take ownership in your job;
  • You are flexible and innovative;
  • You take a "hands on" approach and you are strong in administrative and compliance processes;
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English.
